Mr Luscious and I started tennis lessons a few weeks ago, with the fabulous David, at our local club in Mount Martha, where we live on the Mornington Peninsula.
We were both rather rusty, but have made great strides – literally and figuratively – in a short space of time…
Unfortunately, Mr Luscious broke his wrist the other week, so is out of action for a while. But it gives me time to work on my own skill a bit more whilst he sits out the lessons, so hopefully I can show him a thing or two when he’s ready for another game.
Many thanks to head coach, Stirling, for setting us up with David. He’s terrific. He’s always nice (even when I do stupid things), full of encouragement, and knows his stuff. Thanks David! Well, thanks for everything except the pain
